Celtic handed injury boost for Old Firm clash

|

Celtic take on Rangers in the first Old Firm of the season with both sides locked on points at the top of the league.

Our cross-city rivals have started the season in fairly decent shape but this is the game where we should hopefully show that they still have a bit to go until they are at our level.

It’ll be tough and they are bound to be up for it but we have got plenty of reasons to be confident that we can get a result against them.

Indeed, one of those is that Odsonne Edouard is set to be fully fit for the clash.

There was some concern over his fitness during the game with AIK as he ended up limping around but it’s been revealed since by Neil Lennon that that was just cramp and nothing more sinister.

Quoted by the Scottish Sun, Lennon revealed:

“Odsonne should be fine. He came off with just a bit of cramp. He’s fine, he’s walking about. It’s not a hamstring, thankfully.”

A boost, and a chance for French Eddy to put them to the sword yet again.
