“Celtic has broken my heart” – amazing radio on air rant

|

Celtic fans are feeling the hurt after yet another two points were dropped at Celtic Park agaisnt Hibernian on Monday night. A late Kevin Nisbett equalizer cancelled out David Turnbull’s outstanding free kick and effectively ended any hopes the Hoops have of pulling back that massive deficit at the top of the table.

On Clyde 1 Superscoreboard phone in radio show, Celtic fan “Kevin”, called the show to vent his feelings and he certainly did not hold back, “Well, absolutely heartbroken. Absolutely heartbroken at what’s happening at my club just now. Something’s got to change it’s just a nightmare to watch your dreading every game that’s coming up every tie.

“You don’t know what team’s gonna turn up.  Celtic’s my life. I go home, I’m away. Rangers have been to the bottom tier of Scottish Football, and they’re back.

“Ten in a row is done. The dream’s finished. We’ve got t shirts made, we’ve got flags made. We just didn’t expect this to happen.

“The amount of money that Celtic’s pulled in over the years while Rangers were rebuilding, it’s not been getting spent.  We were just expecting ten in a row to happen, you need to understand the magnitude of this!

“This was enormous. It’s in tatters. Absolute tatters. My heart is broken.  Celtic has broke my heart and it’s a hard hard pill to swallow.

You could feel the hurt in his voice and he perfectly summed up how the majority, if not all, Celtic fans are feeling at the moment.
