Celtic hero criticises current player as future looks away from club

|

Dedryck Boyata is a man that’s tested our patience this season and you get the impression that he won’t be at the club much longer.

He has been at the club for a good while now but at the end of this campaign his contract is up and there’s been no sign of him signing a new deal.

Certainly, he’s a player that’s shown at times what he can do but, at the same time, he is also very inconsistent and that was highlighted at the weekend.

And, that said, it seems as though John Hartson feels he’s not really got that much to brag about after his performance against Rangers.

Writing for the Glasgow Evening Times, he said:

“With Boyata out of contract at the end of the season and in a position now to go and speak to other parties I am not too sure that he will be wanting that performance to be seen by too many.”

Big John is spot on, Dedryck was poor against the Gers and if he is hoping for some massive move he’ll be waiting for some time.

I’d like to see him stay but he’s taking the mick so perhaps it’s best he leaves.
