The Quadruple Treble is something I son’t think is something Celtic ever got enough credit for.

To win an incredible twelve trophies in a row without fail, takes amazing mental strength and character to be able to continue winning trophy after trophy at what seemed like at effortless pace!

As they were speaking about Rangers defending their one and only title so far on The Go Radio Football Show, Mark Guidi and Barry Ferguson seemed to pay an impromptu tribute to the legendary Quadruple Treble achievement of the Parkhead club, “Celtic, I don’t think got enough credit. You take step back and you say out loud “Twelve trophies in a row”. You think about that, it’s an incredible achievement.”

And no quicker had Guidi made his statement, presenter Paul Cooney asked former Rangers midfielder if he had ‘huge admiration’ for the club after churning out trophies year after year.

Ferguson gracefully replied, ” I don’t it will be done again, never again. It’s the hardest thing in football. See to win but to continue and consistency.”

And Ferguson is bang on the money.

It will never be done again.

For any team to go and sweep aside every team in the country and take every domestic trophy for four years in a row is something I think, when it was happening, some Celtic fnas took for granted.

Not only that, to go unbeaten in the first treble, to breaking the British record for games in a row unbeaten and setting a clean sheet record amongst many, many others it truly historic and one that Celtic fans will never forget.
