Celtic identify exciting Boyata replacement

|

The changes at Celtic have already begun and it’s going to be interesting to see where it all takes us in terms of the summer window and then next season.

Dedryck Boyata has already left the club and is off to Hertha Berlin whilst a number of loans are coming to an end, contracts are expiring and the manager situation is yet to be resolved.

Plenty needs to be sorted, then, and one report suggests Celtic have identified a class target to solve at least one of the problem areas at the club.

We need new defenders and, according to Page 66 of the Sunday Mirror, the Bhoys are looking at Derby centre-back Fikayo Tomori.

On loan from Chelsea, he’s done a good job at Pride Park this season with them a game away from making it to the Premier League.

A modern defender that can bring the ball out and play, he is similar to Boyata but has much more room to grow and could become a real force at the back.

It’d be a good start to the window.
