As Celtic prepare to face Ferencvaros this afternoon the Hungarian sides manager has issued a warning that they will be coming to Parkhead to claim the three points.

Celtic are rooted to the bottom of their group, albeit on goal difference, and will be looking to take all six points against what is universally perceived to be the weakest team in the group, the Ferencvaros manager, Peter Stoger, has warned the Hoops that they are not coming to Glasgow to make up the numbers.

They are coming to Glasgow to win.

Stober is determined that his side will be taking the points back to Hungary and has warned the Hoops that his side is raring to go after resting some of his top players ahead of today’s crunch match,

Speaking to the media in his pre match conference, Stober said, “The match against Celtic will be a completely different match than last season because the stadium will be open and the fans are allowed.

“That means there will be a completely different atmosphere.

“We have two matches against the Scots and it’s imperative we collect points from both of them.

“We haven’t played badly in the two group games so far, but we haven’t gained anything. Our task against Celtic is to get points.

“I changed the team because I wanted to rest some players who had been on international duty and were tired. It was necessary to do that.”

Postecoglou undoubtedly has his own aces placed firmly up his sleeve as he prepares his side for what will undoubtedly be a tough, but winnable match.
