As Celtic move on from one big game to the next, the Europa League is next for the Hoops and this match will help determine the Parkhead clubs European fate this season.

Pick up six points from the next two matches and European football is guaranteed after Christmas, albeit it in the Europa Conference, but still, beggars can’t be choosers.

Hoops gaffer, Ange Postecoglou, speaking at his pre match press conference, has said that this is a must win match, “There’s no shying away from it – we need a win.

“The other two sides have won their opening two games so if we’re going to bridge that gap we’ve got to win our remaining games, particularly the two at home.”

And it seems Ange is really looking to go for it when you look at his squad selection ahead of the tie this afternoon.

Postecoglou released his match day squad and there was a notable inclusion amongst the many familiar names in James Forrest.

Forrest has been a long term injury worry for Ange Postecoglou and did return to training this week and with his inclusion in today’s matchday squad will give the Celtic fans hope that the Scottish international may play some part in tonight’s fixture.

Postecoglou will be wary of pushing Forrest to quickly but he has already shown his value this season to the team.

In his limited seven appearances, Forrest has netted twice and created three goals and with the inconsistent nature of Liel Abada’s form over the last few weeks, this may be a perfect time to refresh the team ahead of what will be a massive few weeks for the club.
