According to the Scottish Sun, Celtic are ready to go for Dara O’Shea this summer with him originally a target of former manager Brendan Rodgers.
The young defender is contracted to West Brom but spent this season on loan with League Two club Exeter City in England as they challenged for the play-offs.
He did a good job there, too, and it seems as though he has remained of interest to the Bhoys despite Rodgers leaving the club earlier on in 2019.
Whether he’s still interested now he is at Leicester remains to be seen now, of course, but it looks as though we are and he certainly seems the sort of player we could warm to.
A bright young player capable of bringing the ball out of defence, he could be part of a new look back-line that needs a rebuild with the likes of Dedryck Boyata going.
We’ll soon see if we can pull this one off.
