Celtic have enjoyed a very successful couple of transfer windows this season and for once, the loan market has served us well.
With Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers currently tearing it up in the SPFL, both players have done their part in helping the club secure silverware, European group stage football and reach the top of the league.
But could they both be coming to Parkhead permanently in the summer?
We don’t really know as all talk of moves has gone quiet as the club focuses on the title run in.
But top Spurs podcaster, Ben Wenham who runs the Lillywhite Podcast has sent Celtic a dire warning about the future of Carter-Vickers.
Wenham, speaking to Football Insider, claims that the big American could be used a makeweight for Spurs to sign Tino Livramento from Southampton in the summer, “Could we include Harry Winks in the deal? There are other players who fit that bill.
“Various outlets are reporting Cameron Carter-Vickers is of interest to some clubs owing to his form at Celtic.
“Is there a way we could offer him as a makeweight in the summer?
“It might work out, giving them a defender as they are losing a defender.
“Maybe something can be done there.”
Vital Celtic wrote back in December how Wenham revealed that Spurs were willing to part with Carter-Vickers for £2.5m last summer when talk was at it’s peak about the Hoops signing him permanently but his latest update may leave the fans devastated as he has been pivotal to Celtic’s early successes this season.
