Celtic look set to battle Brendan Rodgers and Steven Gerrard in the fight for ‘teenage sensation’ Reuben McAllister.

According to The Sun , the Hoops have been monitoring the 16 year old attacking midfielder and could be ready to face off Leicester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Rangers as a host of clubs look set to try and tempt the youngster to leave Bristol City

Football Insider have also described McAllister, the son of former Scottish player Jamie, as a ‘sensation’ and it seems he has a massive future in the game.

He made his under 23 debut for Bristol City aged just FIFTEEN and according to the reports, McAllister has had EPL scouts ‘flocking’ to him since then.

Celtic need to bolster their youth ranks as several high profile youngsters departures have set alarm bells ringing with the support at the amount of talent leaving the club.

Vincent Angeline, Leo Hjelde and Ben Doak are the most recent examples of  Celtic seemingly not being able to tempt our stars of the future to stay and develop at the club and with Karamoko Dembele being allowed to run his contract down (yes, I know this could be due to the player being deemed not good enough), the youth ranks at the club do need replenished if the club are looking to safeguard the first teams future.
