AFC Bournemouith have today confirmed that Jack Stacey has left his Luton Town side to join them in the Premier League – in what is a blow to us.
The Scottish Sun reported that the right-back was a target for us with him excelling for the Hatters last season as they earned promotion from League One into the Championship.
With pace and the ability to create in the final third – he scored four goals last season and set-up even more – he would be a fine addition to our side, or, would have been.
Indeed, it is clear that the Bhoys have now missed out on this one as the Cherries have been successful with their latest bid after their initial move for him was thrown out by the Hatters.
It’s a shame, but one perhaps we should have expected to go the way it has with the fact they’re a Premier League side.
