There is absolutely no doubt that Celtic will add to their ranks in the summer.

Ange Postecoglou himself has openly admitted that he plans two transfer windows ahead when looking at his team and with the departures of Giorgos Giakoumakis and Josip Juranovic this January, he is not afraid to sacrifice popular first-team stars if it means improving the overall playing squad.

And that leaves us with a massive guessing game heading into the next transfer window.

Who will be leaving and who will be coming in? It’s a great game of double jeopardy that the Celtic fans can look forward to without any fear or trepidation because of Ange Postecoglou’s recruitment.

And reports last night emerged that a supposed Celtic target, Ardon Jashari, has told his agent that he wants to be playing Champions League football next season. [Daily Record]

Jashari was linked with Celtic in January and according to Pete O’Rourke [GiveMeSport via Vital Celtic] the Parkhead club had ‘been monitoring him’.

O’Rourke said at the time, “He looks a good young player, he’s only 20 years old and already a Swiss International as well.

“He’s done really well at FC Luzern, so with being a young player with big potential, Celtic have been monitoring him.”

The 20-year-old already has two caps for Switzerland after making his debut against the Czech Republic back in September last year.

He was part of the Swiss World Cup squad but only featured once, in the 6-1 demolition by Portugal.

Whether Celtic are of a mind to sign another defensive midfielder after the capture of Tomoki Iwata remains to be seen but Jashari does look like a player for the future.

Call yourself a true Celtic fan? How well do you know the European Cup winning season?
