Celtic transfer talk quashed over 27-year-old

|

Scotland earned themselves a 2-1 win over Cyprus at the weekend to get their EURO 2020 qualifying campaign back on track somewhat.

Steve Clarke has earned his first win as Scotland manager and hopefully, we’ll see some more success to come.

We also got to take a closer look at defender Stephen O’Donnell but it seems as though he is unaware of any Celtic interest at the moment.

He was asked about it at the weekend but provided a rather jovial response – as per the Glasgow Evening Times:

“I’m going everywhere apparently.

“Motherwell is quite handy to get to I guess! It’s flattering to be linked with these clubs but I’d love to know the sources sometimes.”

He looks a decent enough player but it’s not exactly one I am desperate to see happen if I am honest.

Whilst he has something to offer, I certainly think that we can get some better quality players in during the window – providing the budget is there.

Whether or not we end up making an offer for him, meanwhile, remains to be seen.
