Celtic have always been a club open to all. It is a mantra the club have pressed long and hard as they aim to wipe out all kinds of bigotry and hate and promote tolerance and peace whether it regards someone’s race, religion or sexual orientation.
Every year, Celtic have a reputation for supporting the LGBTQ community during Pride Week and today was no different.
On the clubs main social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter the club posted it’s yearly message of support to the cause.
But unfortunately, as social media has proved throughout the years, with every well intentioned tweet or post, there are those that just do not have the capacity to support or even tolerate people from different backgrounds, genders or sexualities.
Take Celtic’s twitter feed for example. The club wished all those participating in the Pride festivities well:

And as sure night follows day, the uneducated and downright ignorant amongst not only society, but the support as well.

On the clubs Facebook post, there seemed to be a plethora of idiots just waiting to dumb down humanity with their views, which the Celtic fans shot down with their brilliant wit:
