Celtic were electric against Dundee on Sunday afternoon.
The final score of 4-2 actually flattered the Dens Park side as with more clinical finishing, the Hoops could, and probably should, have been closer to double figures.
After feeling the full force of Anthony Ralston, Charlie Adam was speaking on The PLZ Football Show when he was asked by host, Peter Martin how the former Rangers and Liverpool midfielder found playing against the Hoops when they were in full flow.
Adam looked like he was in awe of what he witnessed and admitted that this current Celtic side is going to cause other teams in the league all sorts of problems.
And when it came to Furuhashi? Well Adam was very complimentary but just couldn’t bring himself to say his name, “They were good. Front three were excellent. They’re gonna cause teams all sorts of problems.
“And you know in that wide area they’ve got pace and they’ve got someone up front who’s movement is ridiculous.
“It doesn’t matter if he’s playing against someone who is six foot five, three feet two, it just doesn’t matter.
“His movement is just unbelievable and he’s a very, very good player.
“And he’s going to cause a lot problems but he’s playing for a big club they’re good players.
“We never really laid a glove on them.”
Now, before anyone gets the wrong end of the stick, I am not suggesting anything sinister in this.
It was quite funny to watch and listen to a former Rangers player and massive supporter, speak in such glowing terms about Celtic’s main man.
