As Celtic look to build in the January window, that particular time of year has always been a source of major frustration for the Celtic fans.
In past winter windows, the Hoops fans have always sat in apathy as the clock ran down and the board dragged their feet to try and get in reinforcements.
Either they would be too late in getting deals over the line or they would be scrabbling around trying to pick up a last minute bargain in attempt to appease an impatient support.
Things are about to change. And drastically.
That’s according to journalist and pundit, Peter Martin.
Speaking on his PLZ The Football Show (35m 26s in, Martin revealed there will be a major transfer policy turnaround this year as demanded by the Celtic gaffer, Ange Postecoglou, “Now Ange Postecoglou has thrown down the gauntlet.
“Celtic will sign players in January and the word from inside Celtic is he wants them at the start of January.

“It’s not the old regime of Peter Lawwell waiting to the last day of the transfer window. I see a change in the way they are going about their business.”
This will be great news to the ears of the Hoops fans, and as their major rivals try to revive themselves from their current crisis, it seems Postecoglou smells blood and is going for the Ibrox club’s jugular.
It will be interesting to see how many bodies come in on or just after the 1st January as Postecoglou revealed not too long ago that negotiations with targets for this window had already begun.
