Chances created and chances missed is the story of this campaign and the missed penalty is kind of a perversely correct way to bow out of the tournament.

Another Champions League night is another learning curve for this group of players because that’s all we can do now.

Well they certainly haven’t learned any lessons so far Same poor defending, same giving the ball away, same chances being missed. I think Hart is showing his age the way he dives for a ball and in general the players are well short of Champions League class. We sorely need a ball winner in the middle to stop the waves of attacks but WILL Ange play him, doubt it
Sorry Paddy terrible penalty right height for a keeper doesn’t need to stretch or push himself. Always told that watch keeper when taking bye kicks or passing the ball put penalty to his weak side,low and near the post
It’s really just down to luck in all honesty. Courtois goes the other way then it’s a great penalty.
