It would seem that Craig Gordon is near a return to the first team with it being reported that he is about 2-3 weeks away.
The goalkeeper has been out for a couple of months, of course, and I, initially, was worried as to what we were going to do without him in between the sticks.
Since the arrival of Scott Bain, though, I`ve almost forgotten the reason why I was so worried and it would seem that Craig has got a job on to get back into the side.
After Focus On Celtic posted what Steve Woods had to say about the injury, most fans appear to be thinking that he`s going to have to make do with a sub`s role.

Bain should be left in team for now

Stick with Bain. If he performs between now and end of the season I`d get him in Permanently

I wouldn’t throw someone just back from injury into that game.

Got to get Bain out the team first . I can see Scott Bain taking on Craig Gordon , breaking Gordons back and dumping him in an underground prison abroad so he can stay in the Celtic first team whilst simultaneously destroying gotham city

Bain should definitely keep his place, been very good, commands his area better than our other 2.

Hope not. Keep Bain in there.

We better get bain signed up . I don’t want another javi broto ! Get it done now

Unfortunately for Craig, too, I have to agree with what has been said. Scott has done a wonderful job and I can`t see him being ousted right now.
