With Scott Bain ineligible to play against his parent club tonight, Craig Gordon is in line for a return to the starting line up against Dundee tonight.
Our no.1 has been sidelined with knee injury since late January, but he has been in full training. Brendan Rodgers says he will be picked to play if the stopper feels he is ready to start.
Some on Twitter were glad to see the 35 year old returning to first team action while others were disappointed:

Still think Bain should keep playing, not done anything wrong since been in goals so donโt see why we should drop him just because Gordon is fit

Verdict:
During Craig’s absence, Bain has been impressive in between the posts so he will have to be on the top of his game tonight to prove he is still the club’s first choice. Due to his injury issues and his age, many feel it is time for us to give the keeper’s jersey to someone younger.
It will be interesting to see what happens once Scott returns for the match against the Accies next Sunday, and whether he’ll have to settle for a place on the bench.
