Many Celtic fans are extremely happy with their manager’s transfer policy.

So far this season, almost all of Ange’s signings have, arguably, been a success.

Look to the likes of Joe Hart, Cameron Carter Vickers, Josip Juranovic and the much lauded Kyogo Furuhashi as a barometer of the Celtic gaffers eye for a player, then it is no wonder the Celtic fans are looking forward to the January window for the first time in years.

As Ange is expected to dip back into the Japanese market this winter, journalist Josh Bunting, has urged a note of caution to the Celtic fans as he seems to question the Celtic gaffers strategy.

Taking to Twitter, Bunting said, “Reo Hatate is a good signing for Celtic he is so versatile can play at left-back, left-wing or as a midfielder.

“Kyogo was a success but I would be concerned if Celtic’s transfer strategy is just J League players because that just won’t work.

“But getting business done early.”

But when it was pointed out to him that the Hoops boss isn’t solely focused on the Japanese market and that he intends to explore all markets across Asia, Bunting seemed to double down on his opinion:

And I don’t quite get the point he is trying to make.

Like the Celtic fans before just pointed out, yes of course Ange is going back to a market he knows well, but at no stage has he ever claimed that would be his only focus.

But no matter what, having witness what we have already seen from Postecoglou in the transfer market, I think most fans would trust his judgement over a reporters any day of the week.
