English League One side Sunderland are in the running to sign Celtic transfer target, as reported by The Daily Mail.

The paper say that the Hoops have taken notice of his progress since signing for Dundee and are joined not only by Sunderland in showing interest in his future, but also Wolves, Burnley, Derby County and rivals Rangers.

The 22-year-old former Arsenal prospect is a full international with Finland, with Sunderland scouting him during their recent match with Estonia, where Kamara is said to have impressed.

He signed on at Dens Park last summer and has gone on to make 52 appearances, becoming a hugely important part of Neil McCann’s squad.

His contract expires at the end of this season, making him a potential January bargain buy, with The Mail reporting Dundee could be tempted into selling him despite offering him a new deal.

With Celtic looking a little light in the middle of the park, could Kamara be the answer?
