According to Bristol Live, Bristol City are battling Nottingham Forest and Celtic for Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.
The talented defender has asked to leave Pittodrie this summer but as yet has not left the Dons and has travelled with them on their latest Europa League excursion.
It’s potentially an interesting race to watch in the coming hours.
The report suggests we’re interested in him if one of Jozo Simunovic or Kris Ajer leave the club, whilst the Robins have seen Adam Webster leave the club and Forest have already seen bids rejected.
If either of them want to sign him, though, they only have until 5pm this evening and so in that sense we have an advantage.
If we don’t lose either Ajer or Simunovic, though, it could well be he stays in the north-east and then from there who knows how he’ll settle back in.
There’s certainly more developments to come, by the look of things.
