Southampton are obviously one of those teams that we do business with more than most at the moment with Stuart Armstrong the latest to go down there.
He follows in the footsteps of Virgil van Dijk, Victor Wanyama and Fraser Forster in moving to St. Mary’s from Paradise and it’ll be interesting to see how he gets on.
Meanwhile, though, Southampton have underlined their class with a gesture towards the Celtic foundation after adapting our chant for the 26-year-old to fit his new club.
See how it unfolded below:

That's why we sing this song, for Stuart Armstrong! 😉 #saintsfc pic.twitter.com/AwVtUdK2d6

The Verdict
Fair play to Southampton.
I never like other sides nicking our chants but it does happen quite a bit because we are so good at them.
Even so, this is a nice gesture from the Saints and should be praised because there are many clubs out there that would do no such thing.
It’d be nice if they still thought of their own song, though!
