As quoted by the Scottish Sun, Ronny Deila has suggested that Kieran Tierney will return to Celtic to finish his career with us but not before moving away to play elsewhere.
Many of us are concerned, and rightly so, that KT is going to be moving this summer and it seems as though Deila also has worries about that.
The former Celtic manager worked with the left-back when he was coming through at the club and will know just how good he can be and, indeed, how impressive he has been so far.
Deila thinks that even if he leaves this summer – or in the near future, though – it won’t be the last we see of the defender in the famous green and white.
The Scandinavian boss had this to say:
“When I think about Celtic, of course, I want him to stay.
“But at the same time I understand he has had a fantastic career at the club already and to develop he needs to go to the next stage.
“But I believe he will return to Celtic one day in the future. I am sure of it.”
Certainly, it would be nice to see KT back one day if he does leave because he has been one of our greatest products in recent times.
