The bottle incident at Ibrox on Sunday is something I have never witnessed in my time as a Celtic fan.

How a broken bottle even made it onto the pitch is beyond me.

In fact, scratch that. How a bottle, broken or otherwise, managed to get past security needs addressed.

Those images are so damaging for the Scottish game and Tom English let it be known his stance immediately after the match on BBC Sportsound.

Speaking frankly, English said, “It’s disgusting. Like, it’s brainless.

“It’s hard to get your head round because it’s not just Joe Hart and the Celtic defenders who are put at risk there.

“There’s the Rangers attackers that are going to be in the penalty box.

“So whoever’s done that, I mean, it’s just disgraceful. It’s odd, it’s mindless.

“And I don’t know, I hope they have footage of it. Because they’ve got cameras security cameras all over Ibrox.

“Let’s see if they can find who’s done that and get rid of them for good because that’s really despicable stuff.”

With the Celtic physio also a victim of a bottle attack there must be a full inquiry into the security procedures that allowed these incidents to take place.

We will be watching this as events unfold.

Nothing will be done. the club called The Rangers, Sturgeon, the Police, the Scottish Government and Opposition Party’s, the SFA, the SPFL and the Media are all enablers as they do nothing to stop it. In fact, they encourage it by their cowardly stances and not calling it out. It is a problem at one club and one club only.

All we get is deflection and an attempt to include Celtic. Celtic and their support are not part of this thuggery. Europe is well aware of this mindless set of thugs and the rest of the World is now becoming aware of it more and more.Celtic and their fans are welcomed the world over.

The use of the O— F—m tag should be forbidden. The Celtic Board should not allow anyone to use this term and anyone or any organisation who does should be taken to law. Their is a patent on its use. We have nothing to do with them and have no wish to be associated with them in any way whatsoever, other than we have to play them every so often. I wish it were not so. The hate from Ibrox is evil and manifests itself in criminality.

It is interesting that the French Government and Football authorities have recently tackled some issues directly in French football. The authorities and media in Scotland, a country which has both a problem with bigotry and with racism, are too cowardly and unprofessional to deal with the problem for what it is – a problem with the club from Ibrox and it’s majority of mindless fans. No more deflection please, Celtic fans do not engage in such warfare. They behaved impeccably on Sunday and at the previous Glasgow derby.
