Dedryck Boyata has been called-up to train with Belgium ahead of potentially going to the World Cup.
Honestly, he has, he’s in the pre-selection squad where he’ll look to impress Roberto Martinez and Thierry Henry on the training field.
Of course, I know we get frustrated with him at times but that’s only because we know how good he can be on his day and this news is testament to that:

Let’s take a look at the reaction to this news, then, ahead of him potentially heading to Russia:
Good. The guy takes so many peters but he’s been absolutely immense last month or 2. On his game he is class. Would be worth so much more if he cut out silly errors. Good luck to him!

Won’t get near the final squad but fair play to the guy, much improved!

He’s already near the final squad!

The Verdict
There will always be doubters in him and many of us rightly get annoyed with him at times but only because there’s potential for him to be a top top player.
Pace, power and strong in the challenge, he’s what you want from a centre-half and if he cuts out the mistakes he’d be a very good asset indeed.
Good luck to him, then, this could be a big step for him.
