Celtic fans don’t seem concerned in the slightest that club Head of Recruitment Lee Congerton is on his way out of the club.
talkSPORT reported on Monday that the Hoops would see another key man in the Hoops hierarchy leave Celtic Park after the exit of Brendan Rodgers.
However, Congerton’s reputation amongst supporters is so bad that most people seem to be celebrating the departure.
The former Chelsea chief scout is seen as something of a failed appointment after arriving in March 2017, considered to have been a failed part of a recruitment process that has frustrated fans for years.
His reputation is apparently good throughout European football clubs, but wherever he goes, fans usually have an issue and at Celtic it was no different.
There were some successes, like Odsonne Edouard or Olivier Ntcham, but many will probably remember flops like Marvin Compper or Jack Hendry most.
