Lat nights brilliant 3-2 away result has been met with much jubilation amongst the Celtic fans.

The result still leaves us with a chance to qualify from this Europa League group, but more importantly, guarantees European football after Christmas.

For the Celtic boss, Ange Postecoglou, after less than six months in the job, this is a remarkable achievement considering the mess he inherited.

As Ange takes all the plaudits, the Hungarian media, clearly,  have completely different take on the result.

With Ferencvaros now officially knocked out of the Europe, the Hungarian media have went for the manager, whilst praising the impressive Celts.

Blikk have even took it to the extreme with a Lennon-esque poll asking if the manager, Peter Stoger, should be sacked! The newspaper reported, “After the third goal, fradi fans repeatedly said goodbye to the team’s German coach, Peter Stöger, who was also asked after the meeting if he was thinking about leaving because of Ferencváros’s not-so-glorious international appearance.”

Magyarnemzet reported that the Fradi fans had a message at the full time whistle for Stoger, “After the call-off, the whistle and “Auf Wiedersehen!” roared again. It’s going to be a tough day for the team and its coach.”

Nemzeti Sport lead with Stoger refusing to resign after last nights defeat even although it seems as if the fans have turned on them, It’s not a pleasant situation, but we have to accept the reactions of the fans.”

It really is a depressing state of affairs for the Fradi manager and  Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic were really on the mark with some quality finishing that really put the Hungarian champions to the sword.
