No 1. Ange sticking it to the media.
There is no number because that is it.
When Postecoglou took over at Celtic he was given absolutely no chance from the get go.
Watch his first media conference, you can sense the tone in the media room from the journalists by their line of questioning.
And when a fan media outlet warned Ange to be wary of the press as they were ‘not his friend’ he was roundly ridiculed for it by the mainstream journalists.
But he was 100% correct.
No sooner had the Celtic manager started dropping points, the media swapped their pencils and got the knives out for the gaffer.
And we all know who the main culprits were.
But Ange got the last laugh at todays pre match media conference [Celtic TV]. When asked about his Manager of the Year Award, Postecoglou said, “It’s obviously hugely humbling and I take a lot of pride again on a kind of representative of a larger group.
“So you receive that on behalf of the group of people who have worked awfully hard to make something, create something special this year.
“And I think part of it is that just the fact that going into it that there wasn’t a great deal of expectation in terms of success, whether that was because me and my background or just the ground we needed to make up.
“I think that was the PFA or writers, I think people just recognise the challenge we had and how we’ve embraced that challenge.
“And so, I take great pride in it.
“What I said on the night I didn’t get the one I was favourite for, sacked by Christmas.”
