If this report is to be believed, Ange Postecoglou is starting where he left off in January by starting his summer transfer business early for Celtic.
Just last week, Vital Celtic reported that the Hoops were looking at Iraqi full back Mohanad Jeahze as Postecoglou looks to bring in reinforcements to his back line.
More specifically, the left full back area.
That’s not to say that Greg Taylor isn’t good enough because he has had a storming season but we were cruelly exposed when he had to join Josip Juranovic on the sidelines during the Scottish Cup semi final defeat and we had to play Stephen Welsh at right back and Anthony Ralston on the opposite side of defence.
It seems Ange may have solved that problematic area as The Sun has claimed that the Aussie gaffer has made the £2m international his first signing of the 2022 summer.
If that is the case, Ange is laying down a marker already for next season and has thrown the gauntlet down to our rivals that we will not be giving up this title any time soon.
Celtic can seal the title tomorrow night with a win at Dundee United and guarantee Champions League group stage football, officially, for next season.
