After a tempestuous display in the weekends Glasgow Derby, the spotlight remains firmly on the referee and everyone in the media and the Celtic podcast community have stopped short of calling the whistler a cheat.
Until now.
The boys at the excellent Celtic Exchange Podcast were pulling no punches as they reviewed the weekends action and whilst they all agreed that the result was down to a poor Celtic performance, Tino was scathing in his criticism of the referee performance, “There’s a number of articles today, although they are just caught calling him out for having a general bad game, that he’s made numerous horrendously decisions against Celtic.
“It’s just, ‘Aye he’s had a poor game in general’. I don’t think it’s quite that.
“I’m in a situation where I’m at the game with my dad and he says, ‘My only worry is Bobby Madden‘, and I’m saying, ‘Listen. The games moved on‘.
“And I was saying that basically I thought, at times, Madden could be incompetent, but I didn’t think he was biased, I didn’t think he was a cheat. I thought he just made some poor decisions at times.
“I’m revising that.
“Because you cannot watch that yesterday, and there’s some of it, that just beggars belief.”
Celtic will need to refocus and get their game faces on in time for Sundays visit to Ross County where another three points will take them closer to the SPFL title.
Madden should never referee another Celtic game and the Celtic board must insist on this madden is a life long sevco supporter and he hates Celtic
“The game’s moved on”? Not in Scotland it hasn’t. Anyone who still believes Scottish referees are men who are beyond reproach that make the odd mistake needs a dry slap. It’s a clear as day that they are biased in favour of one club and biased against one club. That those clowns at the scumdome believe they are the ones hard done by is a staggering display of just how utterly thick they are.

The so called ref is without a shadow of a doubt a 100% CHEAT he should be interviewed with the sfa about his decision making on Sunday Lundstram was allowed to go about the field like a thug.
Every “top” senior referee is a Mason, they have to be to get the job, this makes them under pressure to help other Masons, ie Sevco. Some do this with a relish others because of their commitment to their fraternity, This is Scotland we just have to live with but highlight it anyway. Hail, Hail.
I was watching the Celtic match with a friend here in Derry North of Ireland 🇮🇪 and I have seen the most blanted disregard to the word fair play that I watch on Sunday between rangers and CELTIC a referee not only cheated but if I was a member of the Celtic board I would be contacting UEFA and ask them to investigate the issues surrounding some referees in Scotland 🏴 and I would ask them to appoint someone not from Scotland to affiliate matches between the old firm games because I think that will be the way that we will be able to get a non biased result
