Celtic’s transfer incomings have been written about to the nth degree over the last three/four weeks.

Jota. CCV. Itakura. The list goes on.

But as well as incomings, there is a lot of fringe players that will need moved on in the summer window.

Ange needs to build for the upcoming season. NEEDS to. But he also needs to move on those players that are simply not going to be a part of his plans moving forward.

And of those players, it seems, is summer signing Osaze Urhoghide.

The big defender was brought in as a free summer signing from Sheffield Wednesday and it did look like the 19 year old was brought in as a development signing.

Is Urhoghide good enough for Celtic?

YES

NO

NO

But barring one solitary appearance against Real Betis this season, the youngster was sent out on loan to Belgian outfit KV Oostende to help aid in his development.

It seems the Juliper league side are desperate to hold onto Urhoghide as according to the Daily Record, chief executive Gauthier Ganaye said, “Urhoghide has proved to be an excellent addition, but the problem is he is still too expensive for us.

“But I hope we can work out a solution with Celtic, then I would be very happy because we really want to keep Osaze.”

Which begs the question, just how much money are Celtic looking for him?

It surely can’t be that much considering we got him for nothing and his playing history for the club?

Or are they just trying to play hardball?

Personally, I would have thought Urhoghide might have got a chance to prove himself at the club but it does look like he could be on his way this summer.
