At last! A pundit that is not bleating on and on about decisions that Celtic got that may or may not have caused Celtic to may or may not win another three points.

To be fair, Marvin Bartley is not a pundit but the Assistant Manager of Livingston and man, was he impressed with Celtic on Sunday afternoon.

After watching his side be taken apart by Ange Postecoglou’s side, Bartley (after a wee moan about the ref) was unequivocal about the Celtic side his team faced and had some impressive feedback when he appeared on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard.

Bartley was asked how he thought the game went and he said, “I have to be honest,  they were unbelievable.

“At times you talk about their players. I’m a great believer in Callum McGregor the ability that he has.

“But Tom Rogic, for me, on the day was was unplayable. Some of the some of the things he was doing with the ball was absolutely unbelievable.

“Some of the positions he was picking up. I thought he was absolutely fantastic for them.

“James Forrest as well who got man of the match in the game was brilliant.

“And Maeda as well. He’s a player that I’ve looked at a couple of times. I watched him play against Hibs and we didn’t have too many touches but his movement  was absolutely frightening in that game.

“And for me when Celtic performer that there’s there’s not a lot you can do.

“And it’s one of those games I’ve watched it back about twice and I think or maybe even three times because you need to learn from games like that.

“Learn from when you see players play like that and Ange the way he’s put that team together.

“I was lucky enough to get a couple of minutes with him after and just felt like you’re in the presence of, kind of, greatness and it sounds weird.

“He has this kind of aura about him. But listen, the way that Celtic played in that game, referee decisions didn’t help us, but when they’re not sort of form you’re not stopping them anyway.”

Refreshing to hear after a few days of moonhowling nonsense from the certain factions of the Scottish media about Celtic being awarded corners they shouldn’t have got.

I mean, is that where we are now? Crying about the Hoops winning corners as Ange’s title charge continues?

I mean it’s not as if we scored another offside goal and got away with it was it now?
