“I was right about Celtic star” – Livi player feels vindicated

|

Livingston goal hero, Marvin Bartley, says he feels vindicated after he gave his opinion on social media about Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.

Bartley said he felt the big Frenchman’s head had been turned in the last transfer window and revealed how he got stick over social media about his opinion, “We were speaking about Edouard, I spoke about him earlier on in the season, it felt like his head had been turned.

“There had been bids coming and you had people on social media giving it to me saying I was wrong but now you can see it, I believe that is the case.

“Celtic are such a big club, if you don’t want to be there, and I am not saying he doesn’t want to be there, but if any player doesn’t want to be there then go and get someone who does.

“There are so many players in the market that would give everything to be at Celtic Football Club.

“So you shouldn’t have players that don’t want to be there, don’t want to run, that don’t want to give 100 per cent, there is so many players that would give you that.

“And you’d much prefer someone giving you 100 per cent with a little less talent than a very talented player giving you 50 per cent”
