After last nights performance, Kyogo Furuhashi took all the plaudits for his outstanding finish after latching onto a pin point pass from Jota to put Celtic into the driving seat against Ferncvaros.

The Celtic fans are well aware of their Japanese strikers ability and with every passing game he is showing his true quality.

Many football fans can put their rivalry aside and see a player for what they are and not for the jersey they wear.

You would think right?

During Celtic’s match last night, a Rangers supporter tweeted about Kyogo Furuhashi and it sent his fellow Ibrox supporters over the edge.

Twitter account @andybearz said, quite simply, And another thing .. Furahashi is twice the striker Morelos is There I said it Eyes

And if you are in any doubt in whether or not this is a spoof account. Just check out his timeline.

But the reactions of his fellow fans was priceless and that, as always, of the Hoops fans.

It really is a brilliant thread but what is also shows is the pettiness of the fans across Ibrox way. Kyogo, although early is his Celtic career, has show he has the finishing instincts and prowess of a top goalscorer.

But what he has, in abundance, is that willingness to work hard for the team. A quality that is missing from Morelos game and probably a reason why there has been not a single serious bid for him in all the time he has been in Scotland.

But I’ll leave the last word with our Rangers supporting friend here:
