Much of the talk over the course of the last week has been who Celtic are looking to bring IN to the club.

But the guys at A Celtic State of Mind, where discussing on the show who Celtic should be looking to ship OUT when the window finally opens up.

Tony Haggerty gave four names that he reckons should be moved on in order to release some wages so that Ange can use them to reinvest into the squad.

Three I agree with. The other one, I think still could have a future at the club.

Speaking on the podcast, Haggerty said, “Options that are clearly not contributing to the Celtic cause at the minute.

“Because at the minute there’s like four we think that maybe do with going to pastures new, I would say, Albian Ajeti falls into that category. Barkas, Soro and Boli Bolingoli.

“Do we see them being cut adrift in January? Should they be cut adrift in January?

“Should we be engineering moves to sort of get them to go elsewhere and help with your rebuild?

“I don’t know if we could recoup a lot of money for them but is it the best to get them off the wage bill and get whatever you get for them to put it towards your spend for bringing in other players Ange may have identified?”

Soro is still relatively young and, with a bit of work, could still be coached into becoming a good player for Celtic.

I am not in anyway comparing the two of them, but if you want an example of a late developer, you just need to take a look at current Celtic captain, Callum McGregor.

He was moved out on loan to Notts County in 2013 and returned the following season at 21 years old.

He took a few seasons to get settled and really came into his own under Brendan Rodgers.

Just a thought.
