With speculation rife that the Odsonne Edouard deal to Leicester City is all but tied up a respected Italian journalist that specialises in transfer stories has reported The Foxes ARE in advanced talks with the big French striker but intriguingly also admitted that “many clubs” are also interested in the Hoops talisman.
Romano took to twitter this afternoon to report the update and many Hoops fans, although will be disappointed to lose a striker of his quality, will be happy to hear that there is a possibility the club may receive more than the £15m price being reported.
This will no doubt alarm Brendan Rodgers, who will have thought he had his man secured, and he will be desperate for the deal to be concluded as soon as possible.

Edouard has been in fantastic goal scoring form for the Hoops over the last four seasons and was once labelled with a £40m price tag by the Celtic board to ward off potential suitors at the height of his goal scoring form.
With 74 goals in 137 appearances for the Hoops, Edouard has represented his country at u21 International level and was credited as one of the main reasons the young Frenchmen qualified for the Euro u21 tournament.
Still to make his full international debut, Edouard will be hoping his next move will be the springboard to realising his dream of representing his country and he clearly feels a move to rejoin former boss Brendan Rodgers could be the catalyst he needs to move onto the next level.
