So it looks like Brighton has now changed tact and moved their eyes from Paradise to the Bundesliga in the search for a new manager.

All week I have reported on the reaction to the English Premier League casting their eye over the Celtic boss as a possible replacement for Graeme Potter.

I did promise yesterday that I would stop, but as this latest update is not about why Ange would leave the club for Brighton, it’s more about Brighton changing direction and looking in another direction for a new boss.

Ekrem Konur tweeted an update this morning saying that The Seagulls seem to be looking to Mainz Head Coach, Bo Svensson, as a possible managerial candidate which should, hopefully, end the Ange debate once and for all:

Of course, not that there was any danger of Postecoglou leaving Celtic in the near future, this update will put a lot of Celtic supporter’s minds at rest to know that the focus of the EPL club is now shifted from our manager to elsewhere in the football world.

Celtic now look forward to facing St Mirren on Sunday in Paisley at 12pm as they bid to stay five points ahead in the league before the international break.
