He was always destined for a big move wasn’t he? It probably took a little bit longer than he would have liked but Fraser Forster has finally got a move to a ‘big club’.
I say ‘big club’ because he was always at one in Celtic so maybe what I mean is, a decent club in a big league.
Make no mistake about it, if Celtic were in any of the top league’s in Europe, we wouldn’t have lost any of our top players over the last 20 years who had ambitions of playing at the top level.
For these players, they will never get a club as big as Celtic. Unless you move to the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool or the Milans etc…. Celtic is about as big a club as any player can aspire to play for.
Anyway, I digress.
The reaction to Forster joining Tottenham Hotspur is probably one of the best I have seen of a former Celtic player.
And to be fair to him, he has said all the right things:
Good luck to him I say, he was great for us in his three spells at the club.
Let’s hope he can force his way into the first team at Spurs but it does look like he will be the back up option for the London club.

Love that. At the end of the day, all we can ask as fans is to have players that give a s*it and want to play for us. Viva Big Fraser ๐ #COYS

These kind of squad depth players are often under appreciated because they donโt have the flash of a big money signing from abroad butโฆ prem proven โ home grown โ experienced โ all round solid signing.

Great signing for me, Tbf though not the best examples of saves. I think I would have pulled all them out.
