I have to say, I think I might be a bit relieved at this one if I am honest.

Kevin Nisbet to Celtic, for me, is one that I don’t think I want to happen. I don’t believe he is an upgrade on Giakoumakis who is expected to leave this month.

I reported this morning that the Hibs striker was back on Celtic’s radar and I thought at the time that his goal scoring record is simply not good enough.

He has been on fine form this season for Hibs, scoring seven in six games, but when you look at his overall record, is that worthy of a move to a club like Celtic?

And on the other hand, I also pointed out Giakoumakis’ poor record as well prior to him becoming the top goal scorer in the Eredivisie, so what do I know?

But it seems that Nisbet is possibly not on the Hoops radar as a report by the Scottish Daily Express via Football Scotland claims that the club have not contacted the Edinburgh side over the Scotland striker.

Ultimately, if Giakoumakis does move, we will need a striker and I’m telling you this. To get Nisbet we would need to shell out more than we are getting for the Greek striker should the fee that was reported yesterday be true.

Bottom line? No one rally knows what is going on and it wouldn’t surprise me if Ange pulled off another one of his left field signings and leave the Scottish media with egg on their face.

Celtic hold the record for most Scottish Cup Final wins. Who scored the winners in these TEN finals?
