According to the Daily Mail, Celtic are looking at Alex Neil as a potential long-term manager for the club in the summer.

The former Norwich boss is now at Preston and in the last couple of seasons they have looked to try and get into the play-offs.

They have a chance this season in the Championship, too, but you feel as though they might fall short and that may well fall into our hands.

Indeed, Celtic are apparently looking at him with Neil Lennon only just arriving last week after Brendan Rodgers jumped ship.

Lennon is only on an interim basis at the moment but it is still safe to assume that he’d want to stay put if all goes well so it’d be interesting to see what he thought of this.

Celtic probably have to try and have a contingency plan, though, so Neil appears to be at least one of the names in the frame at the moment.

  • Once again the papers have fallen dumb at the thug that they call Morelas!! Having been booked for diving inside the box, the”red card red card” linesman, and Tory sevco supporter did nothing, along with Kevin Clancy, when once again the thug had two kids at an Aberdeen player. It was highlighted on Sportsmen, but the compliance officer MUST be brought in to look at it .. He is the biggest thug in Scotland. He should be sine died for his so stupid antics ,and his manager asked refs to keep his cards in his pocket, in other words, let Moreorless kick whoever wants!. The ref was under pressure, well before the game kicked off. Over to you Miss Compliances Officer!. Watch what happens!!!!
