Celtic boss, Neil Lennon has revealed that he has held a Zoom call with Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawwell and majority shareholder, Dermott Desmond where he revealed the conversation was “productive” and that he has their “full support”. Amongst the conversation there was also discussion about “trying to find solutions at what we can do better”.

After last night’s horror show in Prague there needs to be solutions as this teams performances under the current boss are nothing short of shambolic.

After the Green Brigade banner debacle there was a show of strength and support from supporters willing the Celtic manager to turn this around to prove the doubters wrong. I was one of them, and in the first fifteen minutes of the tie last night it looked as though that was how it was going to pan out.

But after the goal the team looked devoid of ideas and then came the equaliser. Basic errors. Same excuses. Same old story that is being fed to the fans.

“We need to get better”. Yes Neil. But you said this after drawing at Pittodrie and there is nothing of anything note that suggests any signs of “things getting better”. Ever since the 3-3 draw against Aberdeen Lennon has spoked about poor defensive mistakes, basic errors and there is zero evidence of that improving either.

I genuinely hope the Zoom call was about getting those players, whoever they are (even if its Edouard), out that don’t want to be here in the January transfer window and playing players that do want to be at Parkhead.

Some decisive action needs to be taken by the manager regarding that team because if he doesn’t and this form continues, the next Zoom call by Lawwell and Desmond won’t be a supportive one.
