Looking ahead to Motherwell

|

Well we are back to club football and Celtic Park today host the visit of Motherwell.

As always seems to be the case with international breaks, Celtic’s squad has been depleted by injuries.

The Hoops will be without Starfelt, CCV and Giakoumakis for the Motherwell game so our centre back pairing should be Jenz and Welsh with 19 year old Irish youth International Bosun Lawal making his first team debut on the bench.

Goalkeeping and midfield positions appear to have no issues.

Kyogo will lead the front line with Jota, Abada, Maeda, Forrest and Haksabanovic providing support from the flanks or through the centre if required.

Ange’s men in green and white, should have the class and experience to get back to winning ways tomorrow.

Celtic will be looking to make amends for the disappointing 2-0 defeat to St Mirren two weeks ago as Ange’s men look to keep their two point lead at the top of the table intact.

It will be interesting to see how Welsh and Jenz handle the occasion today after being the subject of much scrutiny for the two St Mirren goals.

I would expect the Hoops to win by at least two goals as we still have ample firepower up front to see off The Well.
