According to the Mirror, Celtic star Kieran Tierney is now of interest to Premier League side Everton this summer.
I’ve no doubt that KT will be staying put this summer and for the coming seasons, too, but we’ve still got to take a look at these stories, even if it’s just for a laugh at the futile nature of the attempt!
Certainly, I’d accept if Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal were going after him and he moved for obvious reasons but Everton? Come on.
They’re an alright team and will do well under Marco Silva I think but we’re bigger than them, why would KT move?
The Verdict
I don’t see this one happening this summer.
United were linked with the Bhoy and will come up again I’m sure but Everton seem a relatively new name in the ring.
Even so, just like the Red Devils they’ll soon realise that this guy is going nowhere for now.
