No easy pickings this time for Celtic

Celtic’s Charlie Mulgrew is expecting a much tougher challenge when facing his former club Aberdeen this weekend.

“After beating them 9-0 the last time, they will be back to try and prove a point so it`s going to be a hard game” – Charlie Mulgrew

The Hoops blasted an incredible nine goals past the Dons on their last visit to Parkhead in early November.

However, the recent arrival of Craig Brown into the hot-seat at Pittodrie has seen an upturn in fortunes over the past few weeks.

And Mulgrew was certainly anticipating a far sterner task for the SPL leaders this time around against a club they must also face in their Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final later this month.

“Craig Brown seemed to have got them organised,” Mulgrew told Celtic’s official website. “After beating them 9-0 the last time, they will be back to try and prove a point so it`s going to be a hard game, but if we play the way we can we can win the match.

“Every game is important at a club like this, especially your home games. It will be important to get the result first and foremost and hopefully we can put a performance on as well.”
