Moussa Dembele showed again on Tuesday night why he is touted as one of the best players in Scottish football, combining well with Odsonne Edouard to help Celtic to a comfortable win in UEFA Champions League qualifying.

Hoops fans think he will be staying beyond the summer to produce those kind of performances all season…

It feels like ever since his arrival that the young Frenchman has been linked with a move away from the club. After his phenomenal debut campaign it seemed inevitable that Celtic wouldn’t be able to hold on to him for long.

However, the transfer speculation has dried up and the striker looks in better shape than ever heading into the 2018/19 – fit, motivated and back to his best kind of form.

Also getting to grips with a blossoming partnership with Edouard and all the signs point to him being in Glasgow for another year.

Fans certainly believe so, with 64% of respondents to a poll we published last week believing he will not be leaving the club this summer.

  • It seems the only rag to run any transfers news is the daily ranger!. How does this dispicable rag get so much information that other decent papers do not get?. It is a funny old football world, and it is greatly obvious, that they are all made up to unsettle Celtic players.! I would ban the lists from Celtic Park, and not let them darken our door at any time. !
