Celtic kicked off their Scottish Premiership title defence with a solid performance against division new boys Livingston on Saturday afternoon, winning 3-1 at Celtic Park.
Naming a strong side, Brendan Rodgers clearly wanted his team to lay down a marker that the Hoops will be doing the business in the top-flight again this season, despite the fixture coming just days before a huge match against AEK Athens.
Some players were rested, with others coming back into the side.
One player making his first start of the season was Tom Rogic, having previously been utilised off the bench in both legs against Rosenborg.
The Australian scored the first goal of the afternoon, netting a rare header from a Jonny Hayes cross.
He was arguably the best player on the pitch, showing the skill and attacking ambition that has made him a hero with supporters.
These fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance…
Watching Tom Rogic is like watching the kid who is the best player in the playground and keeps the ball off all the other kids.

Rogic in that game was one of the best performances Iโve seen with my own eyes. Different class altogether. Positional play unbelievable

Big tam rogic is some player. Scoring goals from all over the place, pinging passes left, right and centre. Gliding past players as if they are not even there. The ball stuck to his feet like glue. Now to add to that scoring with a header. What a player @celtic #hailhail โ๏ธ๐

Rogic owned Livi today. Absolutely unstoppable. This was one of many similar instances. https://t.co/RCBEKN466W
