Opinion: Celtic may actually have advantage over European elite for powerful ace

|

Celtic took a big leap towards an eighth league title in a row and another treble at the weekend as they showed Rangers how it is done in a race for the league crown.

They struggled against St Johnstone, we ground out a win against Kilmarnock, and now things are firmly in our hands.

And, by that token, things in the race for Che Adams might also be in our hands – if we get it right.

According to the Mirror, we’re up against the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United in the race for the powerful forward but that should not deter us from trying to get him.

Indeed, he’s still young and he needs to be playing regularly to fulfil his potential – would a move to one of them really ensure that?

Instead, he should look at our club as the next perfect step. Winning leagues, playing in Europe and getting regular minutes under a top manager like Brendan Rodgers.

There’s a real good chance we should be confident in this race.
