Gordon Forrest of Dundee United has said via the Scottish Sun that Scottish clubs must look to the MLS in the future to sign players.
Indeed, this is something we are already familiar with with the Bhoys with a number of players coming in from the States to bolster our side.
And, indeed, there’ll be plenty of good players to look at as the league continues to grow in popularity in the coming years.
However, thanks to Forrest, it looks as though we’re going to see increasing competition in the market and so we must think of ways to stay ahead of the game.
We have the reputation but we can’t rely just on that if the likes of Aberdeen and Rangers start getting involved – we must make these players feel wanted.
We have a niche that’s been revealed, then, so let’s box clever and ensure we stay ahead of our opponents here.
