Celtic will be looking to restore some pride later tonight as we take on Valencia in the Europa League second leg.
The Bhoys were poor last week at Celtic Park and we were outclassed against the men from the Mestalla, it has to be said.
However, we know we can only be better as we head to their place and hopefully the Bhoys will put on a stirring display.
Meanwhile, though, it looks as though our level is not enough for Filip Benkovic who has been quoted by Croatian outlet Sportske as saying this:
“I want to make another step at the end of the season. I want to show that I can play in the English Premier League.”
This, then, is an early summer warning for Celtic as we need new defenders to come in that are good enough to take the club forwards.
Benkovic clearly is looking to move to the Premier League in England and I am sure he is good enough, too, so we now need to identify some replacements of equal calibre quickly and get them signed up.
